John Sommerfield

John Sommerfield is a TV and film music composer and sound designer. He lived and worked in London (UK) before returning to establish his own post-production studio in the Netherlands.

His well-equipped studio provides music for films, games, television and multimedia projects — mostly combined with sound design, foley and ADR — helping producers get great sound within their budgets.

His specialties span composition, sound design, orchestral scoring, production tracks and music production for all media, in any format — from action and adventure to a dark horror film score.

His music has been used by Discovery Channel, NBC (Dateline), MTV, the BBC (The Gadget Show) and many more. As a film composer he has worked on more than 50 short film productions, and his production music is released through Soundgram and Final Cue for sync and licensing.

In 2012, he was nominated for the Buma/Stemra “Best Media Composer” award.
